The first lighthouse was built in 1863. It was an octagonal stone tower, 7.5m high, with constant light. The second lighthouse was built in 1913 after the port was built. In 1915 was destroyed by the bombing of the Russian ship 'Empress Maria'. In 1987 the lighthouse begins to emit radio signals.In 2000. a new lighthouse was built in the area of the military unit.
